Jane Platt Climbing Hydrangea - 3 qt
Jane Platt Climbing Hydrangea - 3 qt From the garden of famed Portland plantswoman, Jane Platt, comes Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris ’Jane Platt’ a small-leaved form of climbing hydrangea. The foliage is 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the species with lacecap white flowers in late spring or early summer. Otherwise it is typical to the species: deciduous, slow to start, willing to climb rather than bloom if given the chance. I would imagine it could reach 20-30 feet if allowed. A very nice variation on a theme and unavailable generally. Zones 4-7(8).
